  • Identifiers: name, logo, color; or another element or highlight that reminds the brand.
  • Attributes: brand attributes incorporate those economic, functional and emotional benefits that customers assign to it. They are the basic elements of brand identity; as for Volvo and FedEx, "security" and "on-time delivery" are key attributes.
  • Associations: the mental image that customers make of a brand, which is powered by its identifiers and attributes. For example, the rigorous selection of events helps forge positive partnerships for a brand.
